MSc Economics without Economics background - Where do I stand a chance?

Hello,
I am from Portugal and hold a Masters in engineering and
management with a degree of 14/20, completed in 2014. I have worked independently over the last year since finishing my degree with very decent success. However, the relevance of my work toward an economics degree is very debatable, if not useless.

I have allways been interested in economics and Im looking to get myself a strong MSc. Problem is, from what Ive been looking at, most masters require a previous undergraduate directly related to economics.

Perhaps my chances of being accepted in a LSE / UCL like university are too thin, but do I stand a chance anywhere else? Also, what could I do to make myself a stronger candidate?

Very grateful for any help
