Probably worth waiting until you're there and know where you like to go, if this were a year ago I would say without a doubt it is not worth it, but the night life has changed over the summer.

Hi. I will be studying Electronic Engineering at York. I am really looking forward to coming up and beginning Freshers and the course itself. I will be living off campus but still have to pick a College, decisions decisions!

If it's the same as when I started, you should be emailed at some point to say when you expect to be arriving, but it doesn't really matter, any time on the 26th or 27th pretty much, might be after 9am on the Saturday or something.

They share the course with University of Hull, so it's Hull York Medical School. I'm based in York, but have access to both unis if I want :biggrin:
