Transfering from UK University to American University
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on transfering from my current UK University to an American one. I have always wanted to live and work in America permanently, and I have family there, and this seems like the best way to make it happen. Finance isn't an issue, and I know it's possible (http://www.fulbright.org.uk/study-in-the-usa/undergraduate-study/applying/transfer-admissions) so I was just wondering if anyone had any advice / experiences on this?

Would you really want to transfer though? Just finish your degree in the UK and look for a job in the US or do a masters. Without a good reason I always find transferring schools in the middle to be a bit sketchy, it usually raises a few eyebrows.
Also, what NYU2012 said is incredibly relevant, it is certainly not a guarantee you can stay in the US. There are very few visas for foreigners to stay on and most companies will prefer an American because there is just much less hassle.
