Destroying sex drive

I've been taking herbal anti-androgens to squash my sex drive because when I was on anti depressants that side effect cheered me up the most. By next year I want to progress to the real thing. How do I get my doctor on board? Will they prescribe to you if you threaten to self-medicate?

And no i doubt a doctor will turn round and go "oh ok then" if you threaten to do it yourself either way.

Isn't it obvious? I was depressed because I was unpopular with women, The medication caused my interest in women to plummet, I no longer cared and hence wasn't depressed. I feel much better now therefore I want the remnants of my interest in women nuked to hell.

no that really isnt obvious.

Ok firstly - if your depressed because you are unpopular with women then you either need antidepressants or anti sex drive not both.

Secondly, killing your sex drive is not solving the problem, its suppressing it. So no doctor worth his salt is going to agree with that.

Maybe what you really should be doing is developing the truth that if you dont have a partner, its really no big deal. You'll live just fine without one.

Thank you for your "just live with it" platitude, I'm sure you would make an excellent psychiatrist. I don't want my sex drive, having it gone solves my medical issues, I don't see the problem? The doctor can be on board or not I'm trying Spironolactone by next year. I'm not letting my life go downhill just because some idiots such as yourself think I can "just get over" problems I've been struggling with most of my life.

I'm not going to, I thought you might still be a teenager. But anyway, don't tell this to your doctor, he'll laugh at you, it's a crazy idea. Stop looking for a model and find a girlfriend that will want you, or just hire escorts on a regular basis.

If I was doing heroin he would want to know and not laugh at me. Why is this problem laughable? I don't see why druggies get more sympathy than depressed people.

Well I've been taking herbal anti-androgens and estro and I've managed to go to bed at 1am last night when I've been not bee sleeping till 8am for months due to severe anxiety. I am also eating normally and moving forward in my business plans. But of course I shall trash all that progress and quit the drugs just because of the rantings of some 15 year old basement dweller who thinks he's a psychology expert.

Ranting? i havent even got out of neutral.

15? Ha ha not even close,

basement dweller? Dont have a basement in the Irish countryside four bedroom bungalow I own. I do however have an attic if that makes you feel better.

And i havent said to quit any drugs. I suggested to try solving the problem not burying it.

Expert not even close, nor have i pretended to be.
