You should receive a textbook / reading list at some point soon, or atleast that's what I've being told anyway. I assume we'll start to be flooded with information for things like this soon.

Recently graduated from Biomed which shares a lot of modules with Med Sci.
Don't buy any books yet - if you take a look on Amazon they're pretty hefty investments. Wait till you have your introductory lectures and you'll be told if you're expected to get a copy of a book. I spent well over £500 on books and just ended up using library copies as I stayed in the library like a recluse.
