***manchester access programme***
Hi, I was wondering, I meet all the criteria for the programme however I don't live in greater Manchester. I just live in a nearby city and I am willing to commute. Will I still be accepted.
If you don't live or study in Greater Manchester, you won't be eligible unfortunately.

Unfortunately the scheme is very oversubscribed with people who do meet the residency criteria, so you won't get a place.
Have a look at your local uni - it's fairly common for them to offer a scheme like MAP, and Leeds has one without residency criteria (Access to Leeds) though the structure is a bit different
