Go to Bristol or gap year and apply to LSE??

Hello.

I have an offer to do Economics and Politics at Bristol but the Social Policy and Economics course at LSE looks perfect and I really want to apply to it. Not only does the course look amazing, but obviously LSE is a better university than Bristol.

I got AAB in Maths, Business Studies, and History A levels (which I understand is quite low for LSE standards) but since the course requirements are AAB I figured I would have a chance. I also have an A in Economics AS and General Studies AS, and a C in an EPQ.

If I do have a gap year I will do Economics A2 and Further Maths AS, and also retake C3 to try to get an A* in maths. I am also getting my Business Studies A2 remarked as I was 4 UMS off an A*.

Basically, if I do have a gap year I will be risking a lot because LSE is very competitive and with my relatively low grades I could get rejected. I would also reapply to Bristol Economics and Politics however there is a chance they could reject me too.

Any advice?
