    who will win?

i am rooting for india but, even though they are in a 'crisis' at the moment, i cant really see past the aussies.

i'd like to see what others think...

Yea Bangladesh beat them once but was a bit of luck etc...
Ashraful hasnt filled those shoes as much lately, ie not making big runs
I rate Nafees as the best batsman, he has a good solid scoring record lately

Well the obvious choice would be Australia, but firstly I don't like to predict the obvious because it means nothing if you're actually right, and anyway, they've had a serious loss of form lately. Lost by 10 wickets last week etc, and Bret Lee is in doubt which will be a huge loss for them.

It must also be said, ODI's aren't real cricket, and anyone can beat anyone really, e.g. England beating Aussies despite being much worse in this form of cricket. So any prediction is legitimate, it really can be anyone!

Pakistan on their day are probably the best in this form of the game, with naturally attacking batsman, and Asif bowling. But they have a tendancy to get major off days, and are bound to at some point and get knocked out...

I'd like to say England as I support them, but they're just not good enough to predict. So I'll go with my second favourite team, the Sri Lankans. They're better at one day cricket than tests because their lack of a strong middle order doesn't matter, as in 50 overs it doesn't always get tested, and their upper order can score very quickly. And they have the best spin bowler in the world...

    Go Sri Lanka!

i honestly think Australia will up their game and come back all guns blazing...

i'd like to think England would win, but i think the odds are against them... but there's always a chance....

i would love india to win it and they definitely have the team, whether they will or not remains to be seen...i hope it isnt south africa...they think they are the best in the world...and ok the world rankings agree with that but i really dnt see their team as anything special

    INDIA all the way!!!!

(Yeh, yeh, I know ODIs don't count)

Aussies certainly arent down and out just cos they lost a few games and cos of consistancy if i was putting money on it id say they would win as a safe bet. HOWEVER i dont think they will and would go with either India, south africe or sri lanka (would have said WI but recent weeks shown how bad they can be once u get out shiv and lara with gayle off form).

what crisis...theyv just WON 2 one day series on the trot against sri lanka and WI with batsmen firing AND Yuvraj is back on form-the crown jewel! I think ppl forget he won 5 man of the series awards before he got injured in one dayers! Hes gona be a key playa along with srt etc. Just hope Pathan finds some form with bowling and they DONT pick karthick as a batsment, then their sorted!
