Hi guys, as a current bangor student I've seen how many scam events and pages there are on facebook advertising freshers events.
No official event will ever ask you to buy tickets in advance! The university gives everyone vouchers for free entry / discount when they arrive to their halls.
Normal nights in Bangor only cost £3, maybe £4 for a special event.
The University have not released their line up yet. These are all scams and most people that are saying they have bought their tickets work for the company! The videos they are posting are not even at the place where the event is apparently taking place.
Please save your money. The Student club is the busiest place in Bangor, it has always been, its cheap, fun, and safe.
If you have any questions I'll gladly help. Just so annoyed at freshers being scammed!
