Books social work

Hi, can anyone recommend any decent books for Social Work? I'm studying at Staffordshire uni :-)
For my 1st year I used the Wilson et al book a lot, also the Banks book on ethics, Coulshed and orme and the Watson and West book about sw practice. Malcolm Payne Modern social work theory and anything by Thompson. A lot of people on my course liked the learning matters series of books, they lay everything put really simply, however I would just borrow these from your library not invest. Hope this helps

Thank you
Has your uni published a reading list yet? I would hold fire before you buy any books and wait to see which one's the uni recommends you read. Of course, if you wish to purchase some books in bundles or just for your own knowledge then by all means go ahead  They will probably be useful at some point!
