A levels to IB

Hello All,

After receiving AS grades last week, I am not happy with my grades at all. I'm planning to repeat Year 12, but this time around, am planning to do the IB instead?

Will this affect the chances of me getting into good universities, if I want to do Medicine/Psychology?

Thank you so much.

Jason
Shouldn't make any difference, all good Unis accept the IB as an alternative to A levels. For medicine, you do need to take certain subjects as your 'highers', I think its Biology, Chemistry and Maths but I'm not 100% sure - it may be best to ask your school or phone Unis. Good luck!
