Remark?

So I got my GCSE results today. I did well but I was one mark off of an A in Maths. My teachers have already decided to send it off for a remark but I was wondering how will I know if the remark was successful and if I'd gotten the extra mark? Will my high school contact me (as I am moving to a new school for sixth form) or will I find out via post/email?
