Hi guys, I am looking at studying either accounting and finance or an economics degree which will hopefully lead to a job in investment banking. At the moment I just got my AS levels reulst back which were an A in geography, B in economics (but 2 UMS of A so getting remarked) and a B in maths. I am also currently half way through a btec subsidary diploma in business studies were I have achieved a distinction* after getting a distinction in all units this year. I understand the investment banks only look for degrees from the top unis and many have entry requirements of AAA, is there any point in applying for them if I am likely to get AAB and a distinction* in my a levels next year? Can anyone offer any advice or guidance? Thanks alot!
