Does university accommodation usually have TV's included?

It all depends on the university and the accommodation but many won't as they could worry that students will break them. You could watch tv on your laptop instead or pick up a cheap tv once you get there?

The Pavilions are adjacent to the University’s Sports and Recreation Centre. The accommodation provides 1,329 en-suite bedspaces ranging from self-contained studio flats to six-bedroom apartments which include leather sofas, 32” LCD televisions with free TV licence and Freeview.

It sounds like you ll have a communal tv at least in the common room but doesnt make it clear if you ll have one in each room.
