English VS Maths

I get that people can have a passion for maths, I think I like maths but I don't love it, knowing that there is one right answer gives it an interesting vibe, but beyond national 5, or even national 4 then it gets a bit extensive, I know without a doubt, that when I go to study anatomy/biology @ uni I will not need to find the equation of a circle or whatever, yet I still will need to analyse theories, create a dissertation etc..

Stepping back and looking at this from an unprejudiced view id say that maths&english are of equal importance, hence them both being made compulsory for study in high school..

If someone came to you with a degree in maths and then another in English, which one would you automatically think is smarter? For me id say maths, because you either have it or not to do an English degree..
