This sounds dodgy asf. Is there a company number you could ring ?

You look so cool in that pic.

How do you blow it that big?
Why isn't anyone reporting this to the police? Surely, this is a crime?

BossIT need to defend themselves I might email a link to this thread to them.. even though I recon they've seen it but would be pretty banterous.

Ok let's try this:

Numerous individuals on TSR have previously expressed dissatisfaction with Boss IT, feeling that while they thought they were applying for a job, this was not the case and was not made sufficiently clear at the time. While they claimed they were often asked to complete a training course or certification at a cost of several hundred pounds, this did not constitute a job offer.

Boss ITs own website states that it is a trading name of Learning For You, whose separate website states that it is a training company rather than a supplier of IT services to end user companies.

I would therefore advise people using Boss IT group to be very clear on what exactly they will receive in return for their money, and Boss IT group themselves to think that maybe it's their own fault that people feel misled and address that.
I would note as well that neither Boss IT group nor Learning For You appear to have any linkedin presence, either as a company or their employees.

The Boss IT group website includes the logos of the Microsoft and Cisco partner programs, however I not able to find Boss IT or Learning For You on the official list of partners for either Microsoft or Cisco.

THANK GOD i found this forum. from the first moment NADIA KHAN called me i felt the sense of dodgy or con company. then went to interview and just in 5 mins conversation, she offered me job but asked me to pay £395 for microsoft course to be completed in one month asked me to pay it on the spot bit i asked a day to make payment. her assistant sunny who also look dodgy like her escorted me back to entrance as its not possible for anyone to get inside the multistore building. both are indian/pakistani/bangladeshi and have no trace anywhere, somehow everything from beginning sounded dodgy, she called me with private number again but i ignored. anyways this company learningforyou.co.uk is a fraud and someone should report it before it con many job desperate people.
Just went for an "interview" there today. Got the same "Nadia Khan" ( I doubt that's her real name as it's a Muslim name and her desk had many Hindu god dolls on it, and Sunny is a Hindu name too ), everything seemed ok until she said due to data protection she couldn't reveal her client ( the supposed employer ) to me. Then when I asked about career progression she stated I could go from 1st to 2nd line in 6 months as a new starter, this is a blatant lie as I have done both 1st and 2nd line roles previously.
Even more alarm bells rang when apparently I scored 0/5 on an AD test, I know AD and RDC fairly well, 0/5 was shocking. Suddenly I was offered the training for £395.
Sufficed to say I made my excuses and left. Got home and found this and the money saving forum post about them. Now I regret letting her photocopy my drivers license. These guys are probably distributing fake id's for illegals too.
So I sent an email requesting that photocopy be destroyed and if anything comes my way via the Police in regards to my license I will send them straight to her and "Sunny"
I feel for you guys that lost your money to these scumbags.
Hi

Yes, i have also had an interview with them in October 2015. i paid the fee, and now i am working for them. This is not a scam, as that is also what i thought.

I have to say, i have worked on one project so far with them. they have another site in the city, and that is where i work from.

now that i have got some experience alongside my MCSA, and hands-on expierence, i am now looking to move on.

I have also got my money back.

thanks

:lies::nospam:
a company supposedly recruiting grads yet for some reason tries to justify their improper practices by creating a fake account then posting something that's across between an employee testimonial and a company response...

Obviously someone from the company trying to cover up...so you finished your mcsa within 4 weeks.....please...
Here's the thing people, you are going to them for a job, to get paid, not the other way around.
If an employer likes you and thinks you are suitable for a role but require additional training, they will either train you up in house or put you on a course and deduct the fees from your first wage packet.
You should NEVER pay up front for a job, it's called an employment scam, google it.
And as to the fake post above, nice try Nadia or Sunny, probably a desperate attempt to salvage something after I highlighted these threads to Nadia in an email, also in that email i explictly told her not to contact me again, yet she did. Suffice to say i deleted the correspondance without opening it.
These guys are dodgy a.f avoid them.
And they are not affiliated to Microsoft in anyway even though Nadia promotes them as partners.

Also checking on companycheck.co.uk shows this -

Cash: £25

Net Worth: £2,038

Assets: £14.6k

Liabilities: £14.8k

As a sole trader doing local IT for 2 small business clients and home enthusiast builds, in the last year my books were in much better shape than this so called "company" that has been trading since 2012. With figures like that they cant even pay one persons wages.
Also on a side note the wording in the email Nadia sent for my interview raised suspicion too -

"This is to confirm your Skills Assesment Interview with our Resourcing Manager on:"

Yet there was no "Resourcing Manager" just her packed into a cubicle the size of a toilet. She offered no explanation as to where this mystery Manager was.

Oh and while i was waiting in the lobby at 1 Fore St, i tried the number on their website 3 times only to get through to a voice mail everytime.

If this all sounds legit to you then good luck with them!

EPIC FAIL! you are just an associate to the company who made an account trying to do some damage control.. try harder next time.

I really think someone needs to bring this to Watchdog, who will be the person to standup? I'm fortunate enough to not have had dealings with them so I am unable to do so, otherwise I would.

100% scammers who cover their tracks. They told me in order to start work with one of their "clients" I need to get a Microsoft Windows Server 2008 certificate with some company called "Learning for you". Within that month they don't offer any support to see how you are doing or if you're ready for the exam. They gave me a time limit of a month which wasn't enough time. I took a mock exam with them in which they said I failed but I'm sure I did really well on it and they said I can re-take it but then later said I've gone past the date in which I should have taken the exam and the "manager" Sunny told me to write on my CV that I work for them so he can get me into employment with another of their "clients". All I can say is lesson learnt. When you're in need of a job these scammers will take full advantage. The so called HR manager is very persuasive on luring you to work with them also.

I have just gone for a interview with a company called BOSS IT Group for a Microsoft support technician engineer job role but they require me to complete a Microsoft Certificate which is £395 before I can be offered a job role. The interview took place at 40 Grace church Street in London has anyone else been offered a job like this? They also said that the training fee would be refunded once into employment.
