Panicking about tinder!

Another thing just occurred to me. If you're correct that an 18 year old boy who chose a large age range can see me even though he is out of the age range I selected, is that the same for other filters? So, does that mean some of of the guys that come up on my tinder are gay guys who are looking for men only? If we follow what you said, then it must mean gay guys won't be shown any girls on tinder, but girls could still see them.

I know it's a free app and not supposed to be taken too seriously, but it does seem strange that people are being shown people that they will have no chance of being matched with and definitely won't ever be shown to them.
