and how would you know that do you know there finance deals or somthing

Um, because the Sovereign Grant money produces an annual report which is published detailing exactly how it is spent. Quite obvious really. Again, do you think we live in a country where public money just goes unaccounted for?

It really is quite baffling what some people assume.

Jewish Priest - "Do you think we should not pay tax?"
Jesus - "Whose face is on the coins?"
Jewish Priest - "Caesar's"
Jesus - "Then give unto Caesar what is Caesar's"

Her grandmother's face is on the money, it's her money technically. If we are going to sanction her we may as well get rid of the entire monarchy because tax money being the property of the crown is the whole point behind it

It's mostly an issue of where the money that's funding these holidays is coming from.

Being rich isn't a crime; exploiting tax payer money potentially is. That is where the controversy lies here.

If indeed that is the case, which is completely unproven.

Worth pointing out that her mother is independently wealthy through being an author. Are you really going to suggest we should limit what somebody does with their own money - as long as it's legal?

How does the taxpayer fund the Prince of Wales' Duchy???

How is that in any way relevant? You know that Beatrice has the Prince of Wales' niece, not daughter, right?

You/whoever was claiming all Royal income originates from the taxpayer, via taxes. The Ducky is a revenue stream which isn't from taxes.

The Queen gets a grant that has to be accounted for. It mainly goes on staffing costs for her private office and upkeep of buildings. You'd have to be genuinely off your rocker to think it's paying for anyone's holidays.

If ones tittle-tattle so is the other.
