pre university programs

Does anyone know of any pre-uni programs (international) students can attend to get a feel for the university atmosphere? Preferably research/educationally based. (I know these are available at Oxford/Cambridge but those schools would be quite a reach for me...any others?) These are popular in the USA but I'm having a bit of trouble looking for ones in UK...? Thanks all.

Full details http://www.into-corporate.com/higher-education.aspx however the focus is on bringing applicants English up to scratch. Don't know of anything else though.
From memory, KCL runs a summer school, though I'm not sure of the finer details

There's always https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/preparing-for-uni

And https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/english-for-study and https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/study-skills-for-international-students are particularly targeted at international students.

It's not about the atmosphere as such but it does give some insight and help in terms of the sort of studying environment you can expect.
thank u all for info! i will look into these.
