Uni or not???
Hi guys
I have two maybe three options right now.
Either go to sixth form and study BTEC computing, go to college and study BTEC software development or do a apprenticeship in IT.
I've been accepted into college and if (I pray and hope for the best) I get the apprenticeship role, I'm going to do that as they teach practical skills as well as me being able to learn at the same time.
I'd like to do software developing because from that I can do web development and web design.
Now here is the problem....
Most people with degrees and diplomas usually don't end up in a job that needs those key qualifications as degrees, qualifications and diplomas are not cared for as much as they were 20-30 years ago. If I go to college and succeed, which is my only option, ill end up with a BTEC lvl 3 degree in IT.
I can then either get a job in software development or web design/development, then move on to do a apprenticeship whilst in uni. (If I should even go uni or not)
Any help guys??!!
