Scared I won't have enough GCSE points to do the A levels I want

I'm so scared I won't have enough points to the A levels I want which are PE, phycology and sociology, in my GCSEs I got 2 b's 4 c's and 2 d's, I really don't want to do a btec and I got a D in English. Does anyone know how many points you need for those A levels??
It's not normally about points, most colleges ask for certain grades. At mine you needed 5 Cs to get in to do A levels, including Maths and English, and some courses had higher individual requirements (e.g. to study PE you needed a B in PE GCSE). However, if you got a C in Maths and a D in English my college would let you in provided you agreed to resit the English GCSE in year 12 (it was the same if you got a C in English and a D in Maths). Talk to the college you're applying to and discuss your options.
