I'm an EU student coming to Bristol this September and I would like to know how easy it is to find a job in the hall bars or in the SU.

There is a university-specific job page, which lists jobs including those at the SU; you: http://www.bristol.ac.uk/jobs/ ...you will need university log in details (once you've registered) to access this.

hall bar positions are given through the halls themselves, so either wait till you get there, or email ahead
