Im thinking of applying for both economics courses and also business management courses at uni. Will this reduce the chance of me getting offers from unis because i have to include both aspects of different subjects in my ps?

Not necessarily, it depends on how good your PS is.

Of course, it will be much easier to right if you can just say 'economics/business is what I wanted to do since I was 6...'
