University of Westminster VS London Metropolitan University (Masters)

Hi all, new here so I apologize if this has been asked before or if there is a specific format for this kind of question. So I'm currently in the US Army and I will be leaving soon, I'm looking for a University in the UK. I currently have an MBA which I got online while being in the military and I'm looking to get a Masters in Human Resource or a Masters in Music Business or I might get both. I know that both of these universities have a program for both of these masters and I wanted some input on peoples experience with these universities and in these programs. I will be using the Post 9/11 Gi Bill (veteran educational benefit) which pays $21,000 (13,000 pounds) per academic year and it pays my rent at about $1,566 (1,017 pounds). The reason I was looking at both of these universities is that the tuition is pretty low and they both have the two programs I'm interested in. If anybody here has any experience with these universities especially coming from overseas I would greatly appreciate some info. I would also like to know if anybody went to these universities and was able to get a work visa and stay in the UK after graduating. If you also have any information about student services while attending I would like to know more, things like student activities, gyms, events, etc sponsored by the university. Thank you in advance!

I have no idea in terms of the courses themselves, nor what either of the universities are like. But in terms of reputation, I would definitively choose Westminster. Have you considered other universities too, or are those the two you've narrowed it down to?
I would echo the first reply. London Metropolitan has a truly dreadful reputation. It might be worth looking at the Russell Group. I'd expect at least a few of them to have something on HR Management.

I have considered other universities but as far as fees for international students go it seems that these two are right around my price range.

Thanks! I'll look into it.

The rent in London is very high, have you considered looking for a slightly pricier degree, but at the same time saving significant money in terms of rent, by living outside of London.

Regarding Westminster, check out the applicants thread for this year, if you haven't already done so. The students on there should know a lot more than me.

No worries  Yeah, that's true, there's threads on tsr for nearly all universities, check them out. As well as that try the individual university websites, and league tables, as well as considering the course and price, and try to narrow them down.

Try these:

Maybe there's a reason why they're cheaper than other universities...

I would personally go with Westminster out of the two but I would still consider better Universities if I were you, to the person above, it does not have to be Russel Group but even consider like the top 30/40, it might help you more when you graduate and the teaching and facilities may be better...
