Will remarking bring the overall grade up? HELP!

So I just finished year 12, and I came out with an E in one of my subjects.
In both units, I was atleast 2 UMS from a D grade.
I wanted to get a unit remarked, however I was unsure if, lets say I get it remarked and get D, will it bring the overall E grade to a D?
I need to get a D in atleast one subject, so Im kind of lost with what to do.
Any help?

Could you get both remarked to raise your chances? It depends how much it goes up, if the overall UMS adds up to over the D grade boundary then yes it will, if not it won't

What subject is it, as some are easier to get more marks added than others. It also depends what percentage of the overall grade the unit is
