History/joint honours personal statement

I'm making amendments to my personal statement and I want to know what I'd need to include if I were going to apply for history and history/welsh courses for university. I'm hoping to apply for Cardiff University, Queen Mary and Richmond, The American International University.

im studyibg history at qm, some of the things i included in my personal statement where
- when/why im interested in studying history
- the subjects im doing and what skills they have given me which would help towards a history degree (e.g sociology gave me a historical background to social issues and how they changed over time)
- extra activities and how they helped (debate society as debating is an important part of hitory)
- mentioned my epq
-mentioned a book i read and what i gained from this
-any other important things needed

this is just off the top of my head,i ended up googling what to include in a history ps and found a list which gave me ideas of thigs i had forgotten
