Best Film Instrumentals?

Been watching Interstellar again. Holy **** I forgot how good the music was throughout. Epic stuff, gives me goose bumps every time :^_^:

Anyone got any other instrumentals from films they like? :u:

Saw the title and instantly thought Interstellar. Basically anything by Hans Zimmer, e.g. Inception, Batman etc

It blows my mind tbh. The difference the music makes to the atmosphere of the film is crazy. I think it's the best film I have ever watched. Can't believe I hadn't seen it for a year until tonight

Yeah, Zimmer, high five dude
Tubular Bells (The Exorcist) by Mike Oldfield always gets me.

As an aside, if you've seen the anime Death Note, L's theme was based on this piece
The Jurassic Park theme is also quite special of course.
I don't think I've watched enough films to even have an opinion on the best instrumentals, but I've been listening to the Interstellar soundtrack a fair amount lately. There are so many different versions though!

Day One Dark and Imperfect Lock though

Defo my favourite too! That docking scene is just too much... Nolan and Hans Zimmer. Words can't describe how incredible they are

I finally watched this a couple of days ago and it was amazing, the soundtrack just lifted everything to a different level. Hans Zimmer is a genius with most of the soundtracks he works on :adore:

I love Donnie Darko's.

So weird and dark
Jurassic Park is the main one that springs to my mind. I started tearing up without realising when it started playing in Jurassic World, that's how much nostalgic value it has for me

No time for caution is my favourite after Day one. :h: How is all of this good music in the same film FFS?
Terminator 3 theme, EPIC.

This just reminded me of Mad World from one of the Gears of War games. Sure there was a great cut scene in one of the games with that track playing.

ALL AROUND ME ARE FAMILIAR FACES...
Another one I loved was the Inception soundtrack, the main theme makes me sad - has so much emotion :frown:

Also, the Superman man of steel movie, the music in that was just awesome. the general zod theme etc :moon:

Good thread btw, I love listening to movie instrumentals  I usually end up searching up good ones after I finish watching a movie, especially if they're as epic as Hans Zimmer stuff.

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly theme...Ennio Morricone is a legend.

Best Ever..

And I know this one breaks the rules, but it's a rather epic metal remix of Eye Of The Tiger (not quite an instrumental big still) with Rocky montage to go, better than any pre-workout supplement I've ever had

Hans Zimmer is a genius. Watched a documentary of him and his attention to detail is astonishing, particularly percussion.

Not sure if this counts, but I'm yearning a full version of the trailer music for Suicide Squad.

Not much compares to this epic wise :colonhash:
