POLL: Are A-level predicted grades accurate or inaccurate
(edited 8 years ago)
I would say they are inaccurate, as I didn't manage to achieve two of mine - high B instead of A and low A instead of A*.
I think a lot of the time probably inaccurate. However, I do think it depends as well. I mean, you could be predicted an A, but then have a really tough exam or an exam that has really high grade boundaries.

I also know people who actually asked there teachers to give them really high predicted grades when they were applying to university so it would look better on their UCAS form.

I think it depends on the school. For gcses my predicted grades were Bs and they were right. For AS, in my new school, I was predicted CDDD but got AABC..it depends..
