Don't be scared to make friends
Put the effort into your work right from day one
Go over anything you learn in lesson
Don't rely on the teachers for everything, your learning is down to you
Start revision early

Well others have probably said the same stuff already but its very important that you revise not just for your final exams but for mocks and tests however often they are given to you, this will make things much easier in the long run. Also do your homework almost as if its coursework with that level of effort it is certain to be good. Furthermore when it to homework and tests dont waste the opportunity to get your work marked as it will put you in a much better position later on.
With History write as many essays as possible its the only way you can improve! With Business don't get to caught up in the maths and for the love of god learn how to do profit margins and payback!!!
