Winter: military boots or uggs?

I am spending quite a lot of money on a good pair of warm shoes for the winter! I am just wondering whether girls/ladies prefer military boots or authentic Australian ugg boots? Which ones will last the longest?

military boots will last far longer and will be far cheaper
and i get a lot of compliments on my black russian service boots
Ugg boots are really warm but dont stand up as well against wetness so when youre walking through snow, you'll probab!y end up with soggy feet. Plus military boots offer alot more support, i was told to stop wearing ugg boots by my physio as they were worsening an already existing knee problem
