Is Economics a better course than Accounting and Finance at university?

Thanks!
If you look at employment rates and graduates salaries economics narrowly beats A&F. But economics in general is considered more prestigious. However as a result economics courses are more competitive. The minimum grades will be higher and the acceptance rates lower.

Yep. However it's down to what YOU want to do. Remember that. Some people hate economics others hate accounting.
Remember one thing: bankers (read: bankers, economists, analysts, brokers, any role in any company) cannot do accounting, whereas accountants can cross-over.

Bankers cannot be accountants, but accountants can be bankers. Qualify profesionally, then pursue whatever you really want.
