Can I change my D in maths to a B?

I'm taking A2 maths and im really unsure whether or not it is worthwhile. I'd like a B at the least in Maths buttt in my AS i got;
Core 1: C (66 UMS)
Core 2: D (54 UMS)
Statistics 1: E (43 UMS)
As you can see theyre not great eh.

oh and i'm doing ocr mei

My teacher has adviced me to resit Core 2 and Stats which i shall be doing but im unsure if i can still bring up my grade to a B?

How can i get a B??!?! ahah
