Aston is a great university in my opinion, especially for business. I'm a current student here and would definitely recommend it.
The accommodation is great, campus is a 10 minute walk from the Bullring (massive shopping centre) and places like the Mailbox (nice place with loads of restaurants) and Broad Street / the Arcadian (****loads of bars and clubs, main nightlife places), are also about a 15/20 minute walk away. The canals are lovely, too, you can walk along them to get to Broad Street or Mailbox, really lovely at night with all of the lights. Transport - I never got on a bus while I was there, I stayed in the city centre cause I wasn't too keen on exploring Birmingham, but I've heard that they're really cheap. Cabs are usually cheap too cause you can split the price with your friends or other random students, ends up being around £2/3 ($3/4???). Also, there are I think 5 unis in Birmingham so there's an abundance of students here, it's really easy to find people that you get along with and societies to join.
The campus is amazing because of how close and convenient everything is, lectures are about a 5 minute walk from where your accommodation is, everything is super near. It can be kind of annoying when you want to avoid someone, though, cause there's like no escape haha. Hope this helped a little bit, if you have any other qs I'm happy to try and help!
