Re: TSR Mature Students' Society!!!
I've been shopping with my sister, buying all sorts of stuff for her new flat. She's about as much good as a chocolate fire guard! Stood there in the shop debating whether or not she should buy a kettle or buy a nice summer chair for the garden
If she had a brain, she'd be dangerous, honestly. lol

Re: TSR Mature Students' Society!!!Would you include ABBA in cheesy pop or am I still the only person who thinks that they were much better musicians technically than most of what's out there at the moment? And by opera do you mean Gilbert & Sullivan (good) or Verdi (better)?(Original post by Loves Lip Gloss)

Don't you know that retail therapy with a woman is like a fine wine, to be savoured slowly and not rushed?
BTW, I think my former post may have been slightly OTT; apologies if this isn't the place for a rant. Just steaming off about a company whose promotion policy is inversely proportional to the length of your skirt. I mean, I look a pillock in a skirt, I can't find anything that complements my short fat hairy legs.

Re: TSR Mature Students' Society!!!eugh I've had a fairly pants day.(Original post by Loves Lip Gloss)
you're welcome
How are you doing today, what you been up to?
This was what was meant to happen:
-get up after a nice relaxing sleep
-take hubby to work
-take my daughter to my mother's house
-go to uni:
1) roman world lecture
2) french class
3) hand in 2 essays before 4pm deadline
4) roman world seminar
then -
-pick up hubby from work
-pick up daughter from my mam's
-go home
-chill out
now this is what ACTUALLY happened:
-spend the entire night getting in and out of bed because my daughter developed a bad cold and got up about 12 times in the night screaming and crying hysterically
-got up early, decided I didn't wanna wake daughter up (who had finally fallen asleep), so called a taxi for hubby.
-spent all morning frantically emailing lecturers to see if i could submit my two essays electronically via email instead of in paper format (they allowed me to)
-spent the rest of the day nursing daughter
fun fun fun lol. -

As for opera, hmmmm i like all kinda of opera. I love the phantom of the opera, the sound track is great. I was a big fan of charlotte church, when she sang opera. Her new stuff is just trash.
Well, if you went shopping with my sister you'd know what i mean(Original post by kingsholmmad)

On second thoughts, if you met my sister you'd probably consider her one of the dumbest people you'd ever met lol Bless her. Her heart is in the right place, but gawd! the stuff she thinks up and says sometimes
bless her haha
lolol haha The ranting is fine, everyone loves a good rant n rave(Original post by kingsholmmad)

. As for skirts, i'm sure you could get away with a kilt, they're fairly long and would wide the masculinity of your hairy legs
Although, i've decided it should be company policy all male staff have to do a 'shirtless for charity' week
