Is Platinum Worth it?

Any current Loughborough students, is platinum worth it. I'm spending lots of money right now on stuff for uni and i don't want to go and pay more for something thats not worth the money, thanks

It is 100% worth it! So many benefits are included with it like your freshers ball ticket, queue jump before 11:30pm on Wednesday's and Friday's, offers etc. I felt the exact same, as if I was spending so much money at once before starting but you will thank yourself throughout the year! If you go out 2 times a week for the majority of the year you will save so much money. And it is so convenient to just know you have all your entries paid for and you can just swipe your card at the union and you're in. I definitely recommend it if you can afford it because it was the best decision I made in first year and even had it in second year too. I have never heard someone say they regret buying it either.
