My main account is not my student account

Hello. my question is that I have applied for Santander's student account about a week ago however, I have applied for student finance before that and I have put my normal current account on the student finance details. To receive the full benefits of the Santander's current account I would need to have it as my main account.

My question is will I be able to just transfer my loans from student finance to my Santander account after it has been transferred on my other account, HSBC, to receive the benefits of the student account

P.S I know that changing my bank details is an option but with my class starting soon and given that people have said of Student Finance being a pain to deal with makes me weary.

P.S.S I know stupid me didn't do proper research on accounts for Uni

I think the rules for getting the full benefit of the santander student account is that you need to have at least £500 put in to it. My first student loan went onto a different card and I transferred that amount across.
