A-Level coursework

I absolutely hate c.w and I was just wondering how much percent c.w counts for in AS & A2 Biology and Chemistry.

For Edexcel, the coursework element counts for 1/2 of Unit 3 - i.e. 1/6 of the total AS. For Bio that means one investigation, similar to the one you did at GCSE but obviously a lot more detailed. For Chemistry, it means about 4 assessed practicals & associated calculations/planning/writeups.
Are you sure it's exactly half? I remember one was worth 32 and one was 38 raw marks.

Well, that's what we were told - but maybe it's not exact.
I thought it was something like 15%

She said that coursework makes up half of unit 3. Unit 3 counts for 1/3 of AS, therefore the coursework would count as 1/6, which equals 16.6%, which is near 15%.

Okay, I found out the exam boards. How much c.w counts for your final grade in AS Chemistry and Biology OCR.

It's 30% for me (AQA)
