Gap year finance assistance (compulsory army recruitment)

Hello guys,

I need some advice regarding my student loan. Next summer I'll have to be recruited in the Greek army (just my nationality is Greek not my origin) which is compulsory. This will start in July and last approximately 3 months. Most likely I'll have to take a gap year as I don't think I'll make it back for the course start in time.

So I have the following questions which I'd very much appreciate if someone was kind enough to provide some information about:
Will I be required to start repaying because I am not studying anymore?
And as the contract of the SLC states I have to inform them if my address changes but I most likely won't have a permanent address there so what should I do about this?
