Christian union getaway
I was wondering if anyone has any experience of this getaway, and whether a catholic like myself would be welcome?
The Catholic Society and the Christian Union historically don't get on that well - I don't think you would be unwelcome, it's just DICCU have a different kind of approach than most Catholics are used to! I went to Catholic School and had never experienced anything like DICCU, it's quite evangelical and loud.
You might enjoy it, personally I became an atheist on going to university as I met new people and found new ideas, so do what's right for you! Personally I was glad I hadn't gone, as I think I would have just entered a new 'clique'!
