Please help with this C1 differentiation question

It says: "rewrite these equations using index notation and then differentiate y with respect to x"

The question is: y=-x^2 square root x

X is to the power 3/2 which is the same as writing x is to the power 2/2 (basically x to the power or one), multiplied by x to the power 1/2 (which is basically square root). Remember, x^a multiplied by x^b = x^a+b.
