Economics or Economics and Politics?

Hi all, I am currently in a dilemma over what course to do at Warwick.

Currently I'm doing Maths, Geography, Economics and Politics at A2 level and am also doing Further Maths AS.

I got 4A's at AS but my school is very strict on A* predictions (95UMS+ at AS) and so my predictions are A*A*AA with A* predictions in Geography and Politics. I also got 12A*s at GCSE.

I am thinking of applying to Warwick but am not sure whether to apply for pure Economics or a joint course in Economics, Politics and International Studies. Whilst I would rather apply for pure econ, I feel my application would be hindered as I don't have an A* prediction for Maths. I know Warwick don't explicitly ask for it but I was wondering if you know anyone who has applied for econ at Warwick without an A* prediction in Maths.

Also, as I am applying for Government and Economics at LSE (which is like economics and politics) I was wondering how to do a personal statement which suits both Government and Economics and LSE and pure Economics at Warwick.
