Hi

Have you thought about doing an interdisciplinary degree? Then you get to combine studying a few subjects, whilst you figure out what you want to do long term. And don't worry most people don't have an idea about careers and long terms plans!

We've just started some new courses at the University of Sheffield that have been designed to have flexible pathways which will allow you to discover what it is you want to do. They also offer training in research methods which will give you practical skills like critical thinking and data analysis that employers are looking for, so great for job prospects.

Both courses offer subjects from the social sciences like Politics and Sociology which work well with your A Level experience, and the Quantitative Social Sciences course offers high level training in quantitative methods which would link up with your Economics experience.

You can find our more about the Applied Social Sciences and Quantitative Social Sciences here:

I hope this helps!
