Help Required - Drugs w/Expired Patents

Hi,

I know this is a long shot. I'm an economist at LSE doing a bit of dissertation work into pharmaceutical patents and the market design to induce efficiency. I am looking to collect data on drugs that have expired patents ~ year 2000. Ideally, the drugs I'm looking at would contain a sample of both big and small sales drugs.

Would anyone be able to help me? Or point me in the direction of somewhere where I could obtain this info?

Regards

Correct me if I'm wrong, but a drug with an expired patent will have a generic name. So the best place to look would be the British National Formulary (The BNF) which can be accessed at www.medicinescomplete.com . You'll have to sign up for 30 day trial access.
