Degree choice help!

I'm interested in coding, however it's something I've never had the guts to try...

I'm also interested in science, chemistry in particular, but also biology.

I'm stuck. What do I pick as my degree...

If you really want to learn how to program, do it, and not through school.

I'm a programmer myself and I know plenty of other programmers - some of which were my colleagues. No programmer that I know learnt anything significant from school. The best way to learn is to just do it!

It's a really strange feeling, but the more you do it, the more you understand. It'd be an idea to find someone to talk to about it if you have any questions, too (I'm here if you want).

What kind of coding do you want to get into?

This YouTuber has some nice tutorials that helped me: https://www.youtube.com/user/thenewboston

And this site is pretty good: https://www.codecademy.com/

Thank u!! I will teach myself ^.^
As for what degree you want to do, depending on your A-levels, you could try NatSci at Cam, because it has options for Biology, Physics and Coding. Just a thought:smile:

As in Cambridge...?
God no, I know it's considered a prestigious university but it's honestly not for me. I'd crumble under the immense pressure.
