Complex number help

Hey, i am having problems answering this question(Only just started learning about complex numbers).


Find
a) Re(z*)
b)Im(i(z*-z))
I get that Re(z*) = -2, i just don't get why the answer to the second part is zero,

OK i did not see the i in your question if this is the case then the answer surely should be zero

ℑ(i(z∗−z))=0\Im(i(z^*-z))=0 because it is purely real.
