Why is a colorimeter set to 680nm during the detection of glucose in a solution using Benedict's Solution

It must be the complementary colour of the compound formed between Benedict's and glucose ...

I would say that is the color where the glucose works when a certain concentration of that is used in Benedict's solution. That is why the colorimeter is set to that frequency.
