GCSES needs to study medicine

I'm new to student forum. I'm in year eight. It's my dream to study medicine at Cambridge and become a successful paediatrician. Sorry if this sounds a bit stupid was just wondering what GCSES are needed to

The GCSE's required are not the most important thing. I would suggest you checkout the Cambridge University website and see what A levels are needed to apply to the course. Then ask your teachers what GCSE'S you would need to get into those A level courses.

But you will definitely need at least double award science, English and mathematics.

I had a quick read and you do need Double award science and mathematics. For A level you need Chemistry, Biology and Physics or Mathematics.
