Is it bad if people say that you look older than you are?

I have been told a few times that I look older than I am, i'm 19 and one girl told me I look 22, is this bad?
As a guy, it's probably not as bad as it is for a girl since most girls would probably rather go for a guy who's a little bit older than them.

But tell a girl she's older than she looks and you're done for - goodbye!
I've done so at my peril in my immature days so I'm telling you this from experience.

I got my comeuppance though and was told by a distant relative that I looked about 40 when I was 18 years old - that would be bad. If you're 19 and are told you look 22, that's OK.

As long as you dont look like you're 50 at 13, its fine i guess
