(already posted in another thread but I figured it wouldn't be bad as I'm applying for 2016 too)
Hello, anyone from France in here? I will apply for computer science for 2016 entry but I still have no idea where and I'm terribly worried with my maths grades so far:
(average from high school so far):

Overall: +/- 13.50/20 (A for some universities but not for some)
Maths: 9/20 :s
Physics (it's the same course as chemistry too): 12/20
English: 17/20
Spanish: 16/20
Portuguese: 15/20 (I'm in a french school in Portugal)
Biology: 14.5/20
History/Geography: 13/20
Some other courses...

The thing is the exam at the end of the year (baccalauréat) tends to be easier and I could easily get 15/20 overall or more, but that would be the predicted grades..Do universities look more at achieved grades or predicted?

Do you know which universities do not look too much at maths but mainly at the overall? I still have not made my 5 choices but Glasgow, Aberdeen (lived there so would be great to go back), Lancaster,Kent, I don't really know lol.

Sorry for writing this much but to get this kind of help in here you have to shell out 440€ lol.

Thanks for the response. Im studying As and a2 Maths on my gap year because I wasn't sure on what degree to choose last intake.
Is it stupid for me to apply to bsc computer science, if I want to go into finance after? I just feel that a computer science degree will allow me to keep my options abit more open than if I was to study finance or economics. I do still enjoy IT in general so studying computer science won't be something I won't be enjoying, if that makes any sense.
Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks

That's exactly what I'm doing (well finance or consulting) and I already have a spring internship - so no, it's not a bad idea.

That's given me some comfort. Where is your internship at if you don't mind?

It's a great language that most people pay no notice too unfortunately. Not a fan of VB myself (especially VB6 which we had to learn as our lecturer didn't like VB.NET), though I have used it to make an extremely simple (but useful) app which allows my class to access blocked websites (VB6)

That's That's God. God I was taught an older version of VB something that came in 2003.You must incorporate your code in the Android sdk and make your app free. That could help in your application

Yep, C# is very similar, almost identical to java so its not too much of a challenge if you know java.
