Let me see...

combinatorics,
combinatorics with a certain order,
conditional propability,
variations,
variations without repetitions,
bernoulli process,
bernoulli trial,
binomial distribution,
expectation value,
variance,
standard deviation,
hypothesis tests, etc.

just to name the most important (specific) terms which you need in propabiility, no matter whether in GCSE or A level.

A Level

A Level

In this case especially the last term in my list is important for you. Hypothesis tests are often teached and used at that level.

What board did you do? Edexcel doesn't use most of the above mentioned words at both AS or A2..

Must confess that I have no idea how the British education and the syllabus are structured. Have met the German one. But if I am not mistaken A level is the last year in school for students. And at this level bionomial distributions and hypothesis tests were often teached and used - in Germany at least.
